Justine & Rob are simply fun loving, genuine people. They kept their wedding simple, using a relative’s home in Arcadia and having a garden party style reception. Family was key in making their wedding happen. Justine’s mom, a florist, handled all the flowers, her brother (an aspiring chef) and uncle handled all the food, and her aunt and uncle provided the home. Add in a professional make-up artist, a string quartet, a couple of bartenders, and myself and we had all the bases covered.
As much as I love big lavish weddings, I find that intimate, family and friend oriented weddings are something special. Justine and Rob decided against the grand entrance, first dance, and flower grenade (bouquet toss), instead they spent time with their guests and enjoyed every moment. Since space was limited, time was short, and I only lived 5 minutes way, (plus I really enjoyed working with Rob & Justine) I came back later in the evening, after guests had left, to take a few creative nighttime shots. The results are fantastic and I can’t wait to share all the photos with this couple.
Congratulations Rob & Justine! (View their engagement session here: Rob & Justine’s E-Session)
